I started in the workers' comp system while I was still in law school. When I graduated from Willamette Law School in 1989, I continued my work as a staff attorney for the Workers' Comp Board, which is where I garnered a solid understanding of workers' comp law.

In 1991, I worked as an insurance defense attorney in Eugene, Oregon. The experience gave me invaluable insight into the strategies that insurance companies employ, which helps me build strong cases in defense of injured workers' rights. It was here that I sharpened my skills as a litigator. However, it was my job to take benefits away from workers — a task that was incongruous with my caring demeanor.

So, in 1994, I struck out on my own and I have been representing injured workers ever since. For additional information about my background, follow the link below.

When clients call my Portland-area office, they speak directly with me, not a secretary or paralegal. To speak with a workers' comp lawyer, contact my office at 503-446-4025.
